This completely reengineered, modular fly display system offers some major advantages over the classic Hi-Vis fly trays, which have bolstered fly sales in the finest shops worldwide for more than 20 years.
FREESTONE SERIES Fly Trays are handcrafted solid hardwood trays that incorporate a proprietary, commercial-grade white polymer grid. Key advantages include:
- Improved fly pattern visibility and striking visual “pop” in nearly all lighting conditions
- Much easier ergonomics for customers picking out flies, particularly smaller patterns. With smooth, neatly rounded inside corners there is no longer any challenge picking out even those last few 18’s and 20’s!
- Cleaning is now a breeze as well, as these trays collect little dust and are easy to vacuum/wipe down routinely
- Lower purchase price, as well as significant shipping cost savings as a result of less overall weight
We offer two standard tray configurations: 100-compartment Streamer and 200-compartment Dry/Nymph internal configurations. External dimensions are roughly the same as our legacy fly trays at 46″ x 24″ x 2″ and are COMPATIBLE with all our existing (non pull-out) bases, so purchasing a completely new hardwood base is NOT a requirement.
Mounting options for our fly trays include (also REDESIGNED for 2024) freestanding floor bases or wall-mount brackets. Fly trays and mounting options are priced separately.
Included with your purchase of FREESTONE SERIES FLY TRAYS is the appropriate quantity of removable 1-3/4″x1/2″ white adhesive labels with easy template instructions for printing on any printer.
